Maryland
Motorcycle Helmet Law
In Maryland, all motorcycle drivers
and passengers must wear a helmet. Additionally, all motorcycle operators must
wear eye protection, unless the bike is equipped with a windscreen.
Helmets and eye protection must meet
the standards established by Maryland's Administrator of Transportation. Because
such standards are subject to change, it is advisable to check with the
Administrator before driving or riding on a motorcycle in Maryland.
